Description

Arturo Lomeli the creator of Clase Azul stops by to autograph his amazing?Clase Azul Ultra Anejo Tequila Bottle.?Arturo Lomeli is a class act, one of the nicest and most down to earth people you could ever want to meet, and to have this bottle autographed by him, I myself almost don’t want to part with it. So Cool.

Another tid bit of information that he shared with me before he left was that the top of the bottle is made of “Obsidian?is a naturally occurring volcanic glass formed as an extrusive igneous rock. It is produced when felsic lava extruded from a volcano cools rapidly with minimum crystal growth.”

There are common tequilas, and then there is Clase Azul Ultra Anejo. Designed to provide an experience beyond slamming shots and sipping from a glass with a salted rim, the Ultra Anejo is in a category of its own. Every aspect, from production to the aging process to the exquisitely crafted packaging, is designed to exceed expectations and provide a first class experience from the first sip to the last.

Double distilled from a mix of Tequiliana Weber Blue Agave and pure spring water and kept in sherry casks for five years, each handmade ceramic bottle is full of an earthy, full-bodied liquor peppered with notes of vanilla, cherry, and oak. Each decanter takes over two weeks to make, and is laden with 24k gold label, platinum accents, and a medallion in sterling silver.

With fewer than 100 bottles produced each year, Clase Azul Ultra Anejo exudes luxury from start to finish. Perfect for a celebration or simply a way to enjoy the privilege in your life, there’s no better tequila to add to your personal collection.

Clase Azul Ultra Extra A?ejo Tequila – An ultra – premium Extra Anejo from the Productos Finos de Agave Distillery. Made from 100% Tequiliana Weber Blue Agave, double distilled, and aged a minimum of three years in heavily charred, hand-selected, Sherry Oak casks. This unrivaled Tequila is one of the finest ever produced.

The California Gold Rush was a period of courage, bravado and curiosity. It was with these characteristics in mind that we crafted Gold Rush Red. Grapes chosen from the golden hills and valleys of California were blended to create this bold, adventurous testament to that intrepid spirit. Parcels of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Zinfandel form the backbone of this wine. Petite Sirah and Merlot were then meticulously selected to add complexity to this intense blend. Each lot began its journey in traditional French and American wine barrels. Then, in true 1000 Stories fashion, winemaker Bob Blue divided the blend, finishing it in a combination of new and used bourbon barrels. The result is a signature 1000 Stories profile: a bold wine with intriguing notes of dried herbs, charred vanilla and a pleasant hint of smoke.

This bourbon was aged for six years in new white oak barrels before spending another two years extracting the subtle, yet sweet flavors from used port wine barrels. The rich vanilla characters of American oak mingle with the delicate fruit notes from port to create this magnificent whiskey.

10th Street's line currently includes two whiskies, both of which are single malt varieties and are ?hand crafted? and distilled in custom cooper pot stills. While the STR Single Malt is non-peated, the Peated Single Malt straddles American and Scottish tradition as it is created with specially peated malt imported from Scotland that the distillers believe is synergistic with San Jose's water and means the water doesn?t need to be treated. The Peated Single Malt Whisky also earned the ?Best in Class? gold medal at the 2018 Whiskies of the World competition, and Double Gold at the New York World Spirits Competition this year.

10th Street Peated Single Malt American Whisky Tasting Notes Nose:

The nose has notes of citrus, with a peat smoke essence.

Palate: The palate is creamy, full of flavors of vanilla and dark red apple peels, turning into rounded peat flavors.

Finish: A delicate balance of fruity and smoky notes.?

The stars dance in the sky above the fields for as many as ten years before the organic agaves are harvested for 123 Organic Blanco (Uno) tequila, the pure mother spirit from which Reposado (Dos) and Anejo (Tres) tequilas are created. As they reach the peak of maturity under the watchful gaze of the guardian snake (coatl), the agaves are hand-harvested and the hearts are slowly cooked in stone ovens for almost two days before being pressed to release their sugary juice. After a natural fermentation and precise small-batch distillation, Blanco tequila is born. Marked by an earthy, citrus and herbal character, Blanco (Uno) is tequila in its most natural state and ideal as the basis for organic cocktails and sipping. Both the quality and purity of our Blanco (Uno) tequila are essential to achieving the complex evolution that takes place in its aged versions ? Reposado (Dos) and Anejo (Tres) tequilas.
