About Clase Azul

Clase Azul is produced at the Productos Finos de Agave at Nom 1416, situated in the Jesus Maria region of Arandas in Los Altos Highlands region of Mexico. Clase Azul is a premium 100% authentic from the tequila crafted in a small town named Santa Maria Canchesd?. Over one hundred Mexican artisans go to work meticulously handcrafting each bottle.

Clase Azul tequilas are made from 100% from organic Tequilana Weber Blue Agaves. Chosen from approximately 200 breeds of agave, this particular species is the only one that produces tequila. Once the agave is harvested, Clase Azul cooks them in old-fashioned brick ovens, a process which takes 72 hours.

The cooked pi?as are then crushed, after which a special brand of yeast is added. This liquid is allowed to ferment before the resultant spirit is meticulously twice-distilled with careful attention ensuring the highest quality spirit. This ultra-premium line of tequilas comes from the region of Jalisco, which imparts a unique flavor profile to the tequila. This bright reposado is silky smooth with a rich body and woody, fruity aromas and nuanced flavors of cooked agave, wood, vanilla, and caramel.

An interesting and stylish bottling from the 1800 Tequila range, 1800 Cristalino is an a?ejo expression which has been filtered, resulting in a clear spirit that still packs a rich, full-bodied flavour profile. Suitable for enjoying neat, but will also add complexity to cocktails and mixed drinks without changing their hue.

A crystal-clear a?ejo tequila with deceptive depth, presented in a stunning crystalline bottle. Since releasing the first a?ejo tequila on the market in 1800 A?ejo, 1800 continues to drive innovation with this beautiful contradiction of a spirit. 1800 Cristalino is aged in both American and French oak barrels for 16 months, after which the liquid is married together and finished in Port Wine casks for an additional 6 months. It is then meticulously filtered via a unique process that adds smoothness without sacrificing taste. The result is a spirit with all the complexity of an a?ejo tequila, and the silky smooth drinkability of a silver.

Voluptuous taste profile but soft and sweet, with notes of caramel, honey and vanilla. Medium wooden notes typical of Porto wood, with cooked agave notes remaining throughout the entire stay in the mouth.

100% Agave percent selected, crystal clear, with an agave bouquet, herbal and grassy, hints of cinnamon and spice in the nose Fruity body with sparks of sweetness, and a smooth clean palate on the finish.
