Located in the heart of Provence (France), the Ch?teau d'Esclans enjoys an exceptional location, high on a plot of land northeast of Saint-Tropez, 25 kilometres from the ancient Roman city of Frejus, on the Mediterranean coast. An estate full of magic whose origins date back to the time of the Gauls, and which Sacha Lichine fell in love with and acquired in 2006 with the aim of producing the best ros's in the world. Born in Bordeaux, Sacha Lichine has worked in all aspects of winemaking, from the vineyard to sales. He is a visionary and has become the driving force of the Rose renaissance. Here, at Ch?teau d'Esclans, a ?whispering angel? is born. Whispering Angel is a Rose wine made from the best Garnacha, Cinsault and Rolle (Vermentino) musts that ferment and age in stainless steel tanks. Whispering Angel is the world leading Provence Rose, whose pale colour draws people's attention. This is a full and lush wine that is dry but with a soft finish. A whisper worthy of an angel that produces a gastronomic Rose wine that is perfect for opening at any time of the year. Louis Vuitton Mo?t Hennessy (LVMH) acquired 55% of Ch?teau d'Esclans in 2019, so now the wines made by Sacha Lichine have the backing of quality and close work with Mo?t Henessy, one more reason that makes this Whispering Angel a world-class Rose.?

Product DescriptionCozy up with an approachable red that's anything but boring. This 14 Hands Cabernet Sauvignon boasts comforting aromas of rich coffee and juicy dark cherry, emboldened by a tantalizing undercurrent of spicy oak.
Batch 55 embodies an opulent vintage, which saw its fruit grow amid lush rainfall and balmy temperatures. Nuanced aromas of sun-baked raspberry, crushed blueberry, freshly-turned earth and hints of nutmeg swirl in the glass, segueing to a palate of jammy blackberries, clove and caramel. This blend showcases Zinfandel's warm, luscious character, accentuated by time spent in our charred bourbon barrels, which lent a graceful, smoky finish to the wine.
The Cabernet Sauvignon 1882 is round and consistent with a velvety palate and a sense of "completeness" from the well-developed linear tannins. Highly aromatic and immediately expressive, you'll find an alluring fragrance of plums, currants, dried cherries, cocoa, and violets followed by smooth flavors of red fruits with a hint of almond. The wine's complexity is made even more intriguing as the wine finishes with the subtle sweetness if white chocolate. If you choose to enjoy this vintage in its youth, we recommend decanting for one hour before serving, otherwise our 1882 Cabernet Sauvignon will continue to evolve and drink best in 5 to 10 years.
