As the sun and moon meet in the sky above the agave plantation, two stealthy jaguars (miztli) roam the fields in search of their elusive prey. During their silent hunts, Reposado (Dos) tequila rests in white oak barrels for six months before its timely release. This complex spirit reveals aromatic raw and cooked agave tempered by the warmth of oak aging with spicy notes of vanilla, anise and hint of citrus; a combination equally at home in cocktails and as a sipping tequila making it the most versatile of the 123 Organic Tequila styles.

On a morning when three brilliant roosters (tototl) greet the dawn with hopeful songs of renewal, mature agave plants at the hacienda are ready to be hand harvested and Organic Blanco tequila awakens from its eighteen months slumber in white oak barrels to be reborn as Anejo (Tres) Tequila. Just as the rooster has long been a symbol of virility and power in Mexican folklore, the complex aromatic bouquet and deep golden hue of Anejo (Tres) Tequila are signs of its superior quality and lengthy aging. The California Gold Rush was a period of courage, bravado and curiosity. It was with these characteristics in mind that we crafted Gold Rush Red. Grapes chosen from the golden hills and valleys of California were blended to create this bold, adventurous testament to that intrepid spirit. Parcels of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Zinfandel form the backbone of this wine. Petite Sirah and Merlot were then meticulously selected to add complexity to this intense blend. Each lot began its journey in traditional French and American wine barrels. Then, in true 1000 Stories fashion, winemaker Bob Blue divided the blend, finishing it in a combination of new and used bourbon barrels. The result is a signature 1000 Stories profile: a bold wine with intriguing notes of dried herbs, charred vanilla and a pleasant hint of smoke.

This hand selected barrel produces a deep rich amber color.1792 is full bodied with notes of cinnamon and pepper and lots of brown sugar and hints of maple. Long spicy finish that brings out oak, baking spices, and a dark fruity sweetness.
