Description

75% Chardonnay, 15% Pinot Nero and 10% Pinot BiancoThe base wines for Cuve9e Prestige are obtained from meticulously selected grapes skillfully vinified in full compliance with the Metodo Ca’ del Bosco. As soon as the grapes are picked, using small cases, they are graded and chilled. Each bunch is selected by experienced eyes before visiting our “berry spa,” an exclusive bunch washing and jet spray system that incorporates three soaking vats and a drying tunnel. After crushing, all the musts for base wines ferment in temperature-controlled steel tanks until March. Then they are blended with reserve wines from the best vintages in the magic ritual of making the cuve9e. It is this special technique that imbues Cuve9e Prestige with its distinctive character. After a maturation period of 25 months this Franciacorta be ready to express all the sumptuous depth of its personality. Disgorgement takes place using a unique system designed and patented by Ca’ del Bosco. The procedure avoids oxidative stress or the need for additional sulfites, making Ca’ del Bosco Franciacortas purer, more appealing and longer lived. Finally, every bottle is given an individual marking to ensure its traceability. The Ca’ del Bosco story began in the mid-1960s when, in Erbusco, Franciacorta, the Zanella family bought a little house on a hill, locally known as “Ca’ del Bosco”. Young Maurizio Zanella saw in Franciacorta the land that would generate the finest fruits, both in still wines and in premium bubblies. He pursued this vocation, playing a leading role in Italy’s wine renaissance by transforming this house in the woods into a cutting-edge winery. This beautiful sparkling wine shows a unique aromatic profile with spicy notes of spearmint and fresh oregano leaf. Beyond those vertical aromas are heavier tones of stone fruit, honeydew melon and blanched almond. This wine is an ideal aperitif and its elegant texture pairs well with an assortment of seafood, delicate charcuterie, soft cheese and hors d’oeuvres.

Producer Description

When in 1968 the young Maurizio Zanella approached his family about transforming a parcel of land with a dense oak forest into a vineyard, few could have imagined just what this passionate young man was truly capable of. Today, Ca’ del Bosco is considered a category leader and the industry standard when it comes to luxury sparkling wines; not only in Italy, but around the world. Our commitment to excellence starts with the grapes, and as one of Franciacorta’s pioneers, Ca’ del Bosco was able to plant in the best viticultural sites. In addition to championing the Metodo Franciacorta, Ca’ del Bosco patented its own innovative techniques that ensure purity as “king” and quality as “queen”. As a result, we now take pride in providing to our loyal consumers a more natural wine with some of the lowest presences of sulfites and residual sugars in the industry.

Product Description

Raspberry preserves, dried savory herb and mocha on the nose with hints of licorice, clove and vanilla. Expansive on the fore palate, building to a dense and rich mid palate with strong notes of ripe fruit and baking spices. Long, lingering nish with hints of toasty oak and vanilla.

Brand Description

There are no shortcuts to making memorable wine. It requires focus, dedication and, some say, 10,000 hours of practice to become an expert at crafting this drinkable art form. Will you be able to taste the decades of passion that go into each bottle? Instantly.

The Cabernet Sauvignon 1882 is round and consistent with a velvety palate and a sense of "completeness" from the well-developed linear tannins. Highly aromatic and immediately expressive, you'll find an alluring fragrance of plums, currants, dried cherries, cocoa, and violets followed by smooth flavors of red fruits with a hint of almond. The wine's complexity is made even more intriguing as the wine finishes with the subtle sweetness if white chocolate. If you choose to enjoy this vintage in its youth, we recommend decanting for one hour before serving, otherwise our 1882 Cabernet Sauvignon will continue to evolve and drink best in 5 to 10 years.

365 Classic Pomegranate Wine

Batch 55 embodies an opulent vintage, which saw its fruit grow amid lush rainfall and balmy temperatures. Nuanced aromas of sun-baked raspberry, crushed blueberry, freshly-turned earth and hints of nutmeg swirl in the glass, segueing to a palate of jammy blackberries, clove and caramel. This blend showcases Zinfandel's warm, luscious character, accentuated by time spent in our charred bourbon barrels, which lent a graceful, smoky finish to the wine.

Product Description

Black cherry, plum, warm vanilla and espresso bean on the nose. Huge entry on the palate leads to a super rich, dense mid palate with round, chewy tannins. Long finish driven by black fruit notes and a hints of toast.
