The new Double Eagle Very Rare Bourbon, according to those behind it, is matured twice as long as the standard Eagle Rare 10-year-old bourbon. It is all about the presentation with this one in addition to the age though, with the Double Eagle crystal decanter featuring ?two beautifully sculptured crystal glass eagles, one inside the bottle, and one serving as the stopper.
Nose:?Hints of vanilla, toasted oak and caramel.
Palate:?A gracefully aged oaky flavor.
|Nose Pleasant and immediately approachable, greeted with the familiar flavors from American oak cask, stewed stone fruits, vanilla custard, coconut cream, but also uniquely 10th Street, modeling clay, sea air, salinity, cocoa puffs, red pu ehr tea, the first rain on dry concrete. Color: Lightly oaked Chardonnay Palate Easy to drink, panacotta, light campfire embers, dandelions, and heathered honey. Finish Leaves you wanting more with glazed donuts, lime altoid sours, and lingering silky mouthfeel.|
A well balanced bourbon with delicate body. Notes of vanilla and caramel are complimented by a touch of white oak tannins. This is further mingled with dried fruit to deliver a richly smooth flavor.
Batch #6 - The Bad Guy has broken out of Colorado... Originally made as an experimental batch, Bad Guy is a wheated four-grain bourbon. It was 291's first award-winning bourbon whiskey and is most bold, rich, and complex whiskey. Made from corn, malted wheat, malted rye and beech smoked barley mash, this whiskey is heavier on the sweet side despite its high proof. Always presented at barrel proof. 2021 57.8% Alc. /115.6 PROOF?
