Bulleit Bourbon Blenders Select

Limited-edition 100 proof bourbon that selectively mingles three of the ten distillates used in our flagship Bulleit Bourbon. These three distillates are each aged for a minimum of nine years. Hand-selected from more than 100 distinct liquids, this blend was painstakingly crafted by our blender Eboni Major to achieve a unique taste profile that is distinctly Bulleit in character.

Batch #6 - The Bad Guy has broken out of Colorado... Originally made as an experimental batch, Bad Guy is a wheated four-grain bourbon. It was 291's first award-winning bourbon whiskey and is most bold, rich, and complex whiskey. Made from corn, malted wheat, malted rye and beech smoked barley mash, this whiskey is heavier on the sweet side despite its high proof. This bourbon was aged for six years in new white oak barrels before spending another two years extracting the subtle, yet sweet flavors from used port wine barrels. The rich vanilla characters of American oak mingle with the delicate fruit notes from port to create this magnificent whiskey.

1792 Port Finish Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey Tasting Notes

Nose:?Aromas of caramel apples, vanilla and intense chocolate to the bourbon.

Palate:?Notes of strawberry jam, raisins, gingerbread and cinnamon toast.

Finish:?Long and complex, accented by hints of sweet licorice and cherry pie.

This Superior bourbon has flavors of butterscotch and caramel notes, delicately balanced with hints of fruit and toffee. The body is rich and lingers on the tongue for a delicate and pleasant finish.

Our American is a pre-prohibition style, short-aged, under 1 year, in American white oak barrels used previously for our 291 Colorado Bourbon. Floral with a buttery mouthfeel, while the copper provides a fresh cut leather finish.
