Description

Pale yellow in appearance, due to this tequilas resting of 9 months in formerly used Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels. This reposado is reminiscent on the nose of coconut, cr?me brulee and bell peppers, and tastes much of the same, with added notes of vanilla.

Angelisco is a family by choice. Our individual stories may vary, culturally and historically, but we unite to create a timeless spirit. Angelisco Tequila is produced in the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, from 100% Blue Weber agave grown in the deep red, mineral-rich, volcanic soil within the Golden Triangle of the Los Altos region. The Golden Triangle, at a 6,000 foot elevation, is known for producing some of the finest tequilas in Mexico. These growing conditions allow for the growth of larger agaves, with a higher sugar content. Highlands tequilas are naturally sweeter, more fruit-forward, and tropical in flavor. Nurtured by the hands of the Aceves family, with over 100 years of craftsmanship, Angelisco provides the finest of premium, small-batch Tequilas.

One of the main factors that determines quality in tequila is how many kilos of agave are used per liter.
? Angelisco uses a premium 8 kilos of agave per liter of tequila.
? As a reference, entry-level 100% Agave Tequilas use 1-3 kilos per liter
? We are able to offer Angelisco at a lower price than other premium tequilas by using a minimalist, bar friendly bottle, recycled paper label, and eco-friendly cap.
? We focus on quality at an amazing price rather than the perception of quality at an inflated price.

Producer Description

Long before the climate of the Carneros American Viticultural Area (AVA) was recognized as ideal for growing Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, Acacia's pioneering founders were convinced of it. Their goal when they launched Acacia was to achieve a certain balance in Pinot Noir that, at the time, existed only in French wines. They wanted to make a single-vineyard California Pinot Noir that was both complex and delicate-a wine that heightened the enjoyment of food, making everything a little more delicious.Today, that quality is what draws aficionados and novices alike to Acacia wines. It's what has helped put Carneros on the map. And it's what continues to inspire winemaking at Acacia after more than 30 years, from the ferocious belief in the possibility of this place to the artistry of capturing its essence in a glass.
