Nose is classic London dry with balanced aromas of Italian juniper berries, lavender, summer roses, ripe tangerines and Meyer citrus blossoms. Full-bodied on entry, mid-palate Turkish delight sweets, orris root and candied ginger finish, balancing floral aromas with earthly Rutherford dust base.

Born in London in 1815, she studied math and science at the insistence of her mother, despite the common knowledge that these subjects were too rigorous for girls.

Our Harvest Gin is first distilled in direct-fire, traditional copper alembic pot stills in order to keep the wonderful aromas of the Viognier. Then, it is distilled one final time in a column still so that we can infuse the botanicals and offer you this unique aromatic gin.

This Gin isn?t your typical gin. It's a seasonal, limited release aromatic grape-based gin we make once a year at harvest time. The floral Viognier white wine pomace from local wineries is fermented and pressed at our distillery. We then distill it using traditional techniques. Once we have the base spirit, it's finished with a combination of unique botanicals vapor-infused in a botanicals basket. We combine locally harvested California bay laurel and wild fennel along with juniper berries and an array of delicious botanicals. The result is a floral and complex spirit crafted to entice the most discerning palates.

Generous quantities of hand-picked hedgerow sloes, combined with just the right amount of sugar, are added to our strikingly smooth London Dry. We then leave it all to soak slowly for at least six months. The high 'sloe to gin? ratio combined with this lengthy maturation process achieves a smooth, intensely rich and fruity flavour that retains some of that just-picked tartness.

Averell is an exceptionally bright liqueur?the fresh-pressed juice of heirloom Damson Plums married to a botanical gin marked by juniper, warm winter spices, bay leaf and ginger. Delicious with seltzer, sparkling wine or ginger beer, in both hot and cold black tea, or on its own, over ice.

The history of the Damson dates to the dawn of civilization. Prized by the Romans and Crusaders, its cultivation spread throughout Europe and later to the orchards of North American colonial settlers who appreciated its nervy character: rich, intensely tart and slightly bitter.

The turn of the 20th century marked what many consider to be the golden age of fruit and vegetable propagation in the United States?by 1915, over 7500 new and unique varieties were introduced and also catalogued as watercolors by government-commissioned artists. This progressive era was short-lived as post-war developments in commercial farming and mass distribution forced the majority of these varieties into extinction.

The Damson stands today as an endangered variety from a bygone era, grown in limited quantities by stubborn farmers and one that flutters the heart of a farmer's market passerby.
